Life in Victory

Oh no.. i going to get sick of the ship.The moment u step onboard at 7.30 am on the dot, u have to start to do lots of work. ~ Washing,cleaning,carrying,gun maintanance etc.Dun mention that i dun have time for replying sms, i dun even have the time to sit down!!! I know the "sit" word exist onli during lunch time.I feel like a slave. Under a hot sun and do all the navy chores.(Like peasants building Great wall of china under hot sun ->work =infinate)for those who really need help, i have no problem with helping them out .But for those pple who like to order understudys around here and there and dun even give a damn for u, waaa.. i must be very "lucky "to have this sort 'of guy onboard.

Btw did i tell u b4 that understudys have the smallest say onboard?Meaning if the seniors are evil, they will paint spray red dot on your shirt and ARROW u front and back .But this is just my imagination~ haha relax!just exagarate a little bit.but what i say is that if they order u to do something, u can't say no.So far i have seen many kind ,good and helpful seniors. They volunteered to help me with any doubts about this ship and the operation.They are so kind that as if that if they answered one of my question, the navy squadron will sent 1,000 dollars cheque to their house.-_-

I have been onboard ship for quite sometime.It changed me..lots. For example, i try not swim in the sea ..becoz the sea water in singapore is very.... argh yuckS~!

Ok ok i know i shouldn't complain~I still looking forward to my Taiwan trip.^_^

 
Life In My Ship-Victory->20th Aug

Life in the ship is full of work.Especially when u are attached to the ship to learn..You have to pay a price.To be ordered around.For example if got things to carry, or corridor to sweep.. the first people called will be the attached students. haiz..... dun even have time to check my sms argh.
But people in the ship are nice. When work, they work together, like brothers. Becoz in the ship, the compartments and rooms are so small that it bond the sailors together.But ship is just like any other working place, there will be someone they dun like, hate etc.But they dun show.Wow, just like office politics .hahahaa.But what i am saying is onli a small percentage.Most of them treat each other well.
Most of the ship crew treat us newbies quite well.They dun hesitate to share with us their sailing expieriences and seamanship.
I held the appointment as understudy gunner.Hence everyday have to oil the Oto Melera 76mm Gun.(aka ship Tarrot)Some more the sun is very hot in recent weeks leh. Last month keep on raining in the afternoon,i couldn't sun tan as the result.Now i attached to ship, then the heaven dunno y make the sun come out so hot & powerful argh.whaa kow .

Yesterday do night duty on the ship.After typing for months u should know what is night dty right? sleep at 12.30 am- 6 am today. Worst to worst is that i was having a flu....U know how cold the night is,especially in the harbour,just beside the sea.U all have taken a stroll beside the beach at late nights, thinking it is peaceful or romantic etc right.... yah chilling.The sea breeze is extremely ...whaaa~
say out also makes my teeth chattering.i remember in the army, Basic military Training phase, i was having situation test for 2 days in the wilds.The weather is very hot(about 37.5 degrees)....and i think same goes to my body temp.. very hot and i think is 38.5 degreesat least.then somemore have to run here and there.crawling....with full equipment and thick army uniform on me. argh!!! nearly broke down.
ok then yesterday i was having a flu.... and yet the sea weather is whaaa... dun say liao... dunno y heaven so funny one.
Anyway tomorrow we are setting sail somewhere in the iddle of the sea to carryout an excercise and come back at late night. Haiz... the ship's life.But i am looking forward to the trip to thailand next month,and to taiwan beginning of next yr.all these is possible if i will be a confirmed ship crew in ship victory.oppzz forget to explain to ya that the attachment will be for 2 months. 31 july to 30th sept. then i will be posted crew. The % of carryon staying in the same ship (for the rest of the NSF life )after passout the attachment phase is 75%.so we shall see... Taiwan.. wait for me!

 
Ship 14th Birthday

Went to Jurong East Mrt to met Dawei and Junjie to attend a small function.Missle Convette Vessal (Valiant 91) 14th anniversary.We dun belong to valiant ,onli atatched there till our respective ships return from a 3 week excercise.

Everyone is enjoying in the function.And one of the program for the day is to bid the gifts u want.There are items like Soccer ball,basketball,DVD player,14 inch TV,bicycle,electric fan etc. Every one is given 1000 points.(each one is given 1 colored and 1 non colored ice cream stick,500 and 100 pts respectively).Those who bring GF or wife will be given extra colored stick.A child 200 pts.Btw,Fusheng also bring his GF along,winnie.Beautiful, but is very evil that he does not introduce her to us.After all we are his friends leh.Got to scold him liao.

I took an Mrt from jurong East back home.Was talking to my friend and i past City hall and raffles place. Therefore i have to stop at bugis and take back to cityhall,and then to bishan. But when i was waiting for the train, i saw peiyi.hahahaa well if i dun past the stop, i will not meet her at all.

Anyway,from the function i could see that the people in Valiant ship are very close, just like brothers.but i will be attached to Victory ship on monday,which returned from excercise 4 days ago.Will victory be as good and friendly as Valiant?We'll see about that

 
1st Aug to 13 Aug Update

It have been 13 days since i have last update my blog.Since i have some time left b4 i going to sleep, here's where am i now.

I pass out from Sembawang camp as a Gunner.Then Attached as a understudy in a Ship in tuas Naval Base.Understudy in a ship means mentally stress becoz got to know alot of things.. suchs as names and appointment of all the crew in the ship,seamanship ,firefighting,practical Gunner etc.Then have to do dutyevery once in 4 days.
have to wake up at 5.20 am..reached tua naval base by 7.30 am. then 4.30 pm knocked off,6.20 pm reached home.

 
Aug the 10th-NuS Open Dance Technique lesson

Wen yuan and I went to NUs Dance Studio for Dance lesson kinda'of. Its available for 2 sundays.I miss last sunday becoz i got guard duty.Wen yuan , my Classmate in Sembawang Camp,asked me to accompany him for the dance lesson.Well i asked him continuos times what is the dance they will be teaching. But he dunno.He went to the NUS Club Call a month ago.He got to know there will be 2 open dance lessons from the Dance emsemble booth.Joanne,a senior of the club ask him to come and try.Wellafter 2 weeks of consideration so he ask me to tact along.The first sunday he was out at Sea.

He was late for 20 mins, and he took the cab and received me,together we went to NUS Theater Building.We search the Dance Studio for 30 mins,with any success.Just we are about to give up,Wen yuan called the security down for directions.We reached there at 2.40pm(dance lesson starts from 2-5pm)

We wrote our names ,contact no. and Email @ at the table outside the Dance studio.We opened the door and step in. I shiver~- its jazz dance, which is very close to modern dance i have learned in poly.Hahahaa its all about technique that droved me nearly mad. i do their warm up for 5 mins(their warm up takes 45 min to complete &.. their warm up is very very similiar to modern dance's)We late 40 mins, hence warm up last 5 min over.There are over 100 of people there and the dance studio is like 2 basketball courts.

Aiya long time no dance liao. 8 months got running,gym,swimming,basketball,soccer etc... my dance knowledge all dunno throw where liao,and i not as flexible as b4. But still can able to catch up what they taught.I admit i not a hardworking dance student in poly,just learn some steps and life goes on without practicing my basics well.haiz...~ haha regret now my skill not there argh.
but anyway there is quite fun there.Quite able to catch up with what they have taught,with the help of the senior joanne.The Lesson is for the NUS freshman so that they can prepare for the audition for the cca on thursday and friday.But Outsiders are welcome too.The pple there are nice and friendly... haiz... Y i am not in NUS~ argh~^_^
